
A Hollywood, California native, Josie Davis is an actress as well as a producer and writer. Davis began her career at the age of three years old. She appeared in various television commercials. The show offered her the role of an episode regular while she was just a child on the hit television program, Charles In Charge. The show was the top one in the syndication ratings. Josie received three nominations as well as receiving the prestigious Youth In Film Award for playing Sarah Powell. In her adult years and as the main character in several television shows, Davis received the prestigious two Lifetime Movie Network awards. While she was offered the possibility of enrolling in USC's highly regarded writing program, Davis took the decision to stay in acting. She studied intensely under Paul E Richards. Paul E Richards for twenty years. Davis was 24, and at the age of 24, auditioned for the biggest stars of Hollywood, Shelley Winters and Mark Rydell and Martin Landau. Davis was the only one who performed one audition at the renowned Actors Studio with privileges of being employed by the studio, was granted a lifetime membership following being called back. Davis was among the only two people accepted for those auditions in the year that she was accepted out of over 1,000 actors.
